Workgate was born out of frustration. Not with building itself, but with everything that has been added to it in recent years. We want builders to have time again for where they make the difference: building.

Our story
More paperwork, less time on site
As construction entrepreneurs, we lived it ourselves. Every year another obligation is added: Checkin@work, Limosa, Dimona, basic safety certificates, the withholding duty. Each for a good reason. But together they eat up the time you want to spend on site.
At 7 am the crew is at the gate. At 7:05 you are on the phone because an A1 form is missing. In the evening you piece together who can start tomorrow from a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group and a pile of e-mails. That isn't building. That's admin getting in the way of building.
That's why we started Workgate.

That combination makes the difference. We don't build a tool from behind a desk, but from what we have lived through on site.

Builders make the difference on site, not behind a screen. Our mission is to take those obligations off your hands: Workgate collects the documents, tracks what expires and tells you before the start who is site-ready. So you can focus on what you do best.
Designed from the site
We build for the site manager at 7 am, not for a meeting room. If you can't understand it at a glance, it isn't good enough.
Honest about what we know
If we don't know something for sure, we say so. Better an honest 'to review' than a green tick based on a guess.
